Our collaborative replenishment service comprises Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) and Scan-Based Trading (SBT). With VMI, suppliers replenish in-store inventories themselves: retailers take ownership of the stock and pay for it when it is replenished. SBT is a form of consignment selling: the supplier owns the stock and the retailer pays for it when it is sold. Our services automate the process using the sales and inventory data that we collect and our EDI service.
